Possibility of loss.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately. I have made the decision to keep my old domain Jyuubi.org. Originally I was going to get rid of it because it had a ‘connection’ with my ex, but I’ve finally realized that regardless if it was created during the time I was with him, it’s still me. It’s my online identity and it has a connection to my favorite anime/manga. I like the domain. It’s short, it’s catchy, and it looks great. More than likely it’ll be hosting my Naruto fanlistings and also be a domain collective.

The sad news is…So Vamped will probably not be around for long. Actually, it’ll be around until is expires, but otherwise it may not be around longer than that. Truth of the matter is…as much as I like So Vamped, there’s a few things I’ve been considering. I do not like the .info extension at all and I’m not buying a better extension to replace it.

Truth of the matter is, I never really wanted a blog site. Otherwise it would have stayed a blog when I made my first website. I know I offer more than a blog, but that stuff can easily be transferred to another website. And as much as I like the name so-vamped, it’s not mine. I didn’t come up with it. And I’m not the type of person to use a domain name someone offered on their site. So…lets look at all the reasons why I might get rid of So Vamped:

1) I do not like the .info extension.
2) I’m not much of a blogger, and if I blog, I can always use LJ.
3) All stuff on here (like the icons and templates) can be moved elsewhere.
4) So Vamped is a big website, and I’m not a big site person.
5) Keeping Jyuubi.org means having three websites, and I’m stressed enough managing two.
6) I don’t want to be renewing three domains every year.
7) The name so-vamped was not my own idea.

I’m sure I’m missing reasons, but that’s quite a bit why I would be letting So Vamped die. I will be keeping it up and taking care of it while the domain is still alive, but otherwise I probably won’t be doing much else about it. Of course, my mind might change, but I’m not entirely sure.

Your opinions on the matter is loved. Should I keep it? Should I get rid of it? Don’t forget that you will be able to view anything public at my LJ if this is deleted!
