Hurricane Earl

1:50 pm Filed under: Blogging, Life No Vampires

I know I have been quite absent and haven’t posted on my public blog for so long, but there hasn’t been any subjects I have felt the need to share in public. I don’t want to post here as often as I used to, because I have come to the conclusion I am going to let So Vamped go. I don’t have much use for a blog, and if I want to blog about something it can be done on a blogging site, or I can make a small blog on Jyuubi.org.

I’m sure a lot of you, both from the USA and other countries, have heard about Hurricane Earl. It’s currently a Category 3, the worst being a Category 5. And this hurricane is moving toward and looking to hit the US. I live in the tiny state of Delaware, which is right along the East Coast of the US, and we’re one of the states looking to be hit.

At the moment it’s not going to hit us. If you check out Weather.com, on the front page you’ll see by a chart that the hurricane is not going to hit Delaware. But yesterday when I had looked at the path, it was. So there’s still that chance that we will be hit, but at the same time I’m hoping pretty hard that we remain safe. It’ll still be a Category 3 when it gets here, but just barely. For those that do get hit, I hope you all the best.

I have never been a fan of hurricanes, obviously from my last blog entry. Hurricanes are the worst storms you can get and at times they can last for days depending on the strength and speed. Not to mention that in fifteen days it will be eleven years since one of my closest friends died during one of the worst hurricanes we have ever gotten. Clearly my luck with hurricanes isn’t that high.

Sorry for the short blog entry, but I wanted to post something so everyone knows that I’m nice and alive!
